Classical, Electric & Fingerstyle

From a young age, Katharo became acquainted with music through his family. He frequently sang at every event in his kindergarten and began learning his first instrument, the organ. Later on, he developed an interest in the guitar while in elementary school. He formed several bands during middle and high school, assuming the roles of frontman as a vocalist and guitarist in the bands he created. Starting as a self-taught musician, he eventually decided to commit himself to serious music learning and delving deeper into the world of guitar.

Katharo completed his undergraduate studies at IKJ, the Faculty of Performing Arts, majoring in Classical Guitar and minoring in Composition. He actively participated in various activities such as masterclasses, seminars, as well as open and closed discussions related to music and guitar.

During his college years, he was already actively teaching at schools, arranging songs, composing music, being a mentor, and engaging in various performance-related events.

"Rejoice always, pray continually" became a snippet of wisdom that he embraced in his life's journey. Looking up to a guitarist named Jason Becker, Katharo found his own inspiration in music. He helped his friends by being a listening ear, shared guitar licks and rhythms to enhance their works, and provided advice, input, and ideas in various online platforms.
